On-premises Power BI Report Server
WOW Power BI is going to be on-Premises .It’s not that Power BI running embedded in reporting Services.It’s new Power BI Report Server which is an on-premises server that enables users :
- Publish Power BI reports and manage them on-premises (Power BI Report Server) without requiring per user licensed model and can move to the cloud .
- Power BI Report Server is built on the proven SQL Server Reporting Services technology, and includes all Reporting Services capabilities, including operational (RDL) reports.
